Privacy Policy

PinTour is run by John Mueller. This page explains what PinTour stores, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we keep only what’s needed to run tournaments, we don’t sell anything, and there are no ads or tracking.
What we store
- Your account: name, email, a scrambled (hashed) version of your password, and an optional IFPA number and handle.
- Tournaments: what organizers enter — event names, venues, machines, player names, and scores.
- Purchases: what you bought (organizer plan, stats unlock or a tip), when, and the amount. Card details go straight to Stripe; PinTour never sees or stores them.
- Friends: who you’ve added. Friend requests send the other person an email with your name.
- A sign-in cookie so you stay logged in. That’s the only cookie.
- Crash reports: if something breaks, technical details about the error so it can be fixed.
What’s public
Tournament pages, standings, and big-screen views can be opened by anyone with the link, so they can be shared at the venue. That includes player names as the organizer entered them. If you want your name changed or removed from a tournament, ask the organizer or email us.
PinTour Ratings show your name and rating to other PinTour users once you’ve played rated events. Organizers can find registered players by name, handle or IFPA number when adding them to a tournament. Your email is never shown to other players.
Services we use
- Vercel (hosting) and Turso (database) — where the app and its data live.
- Stripe — processes payments.
- Google (Gmail) — sends account emails like password resets.
- Sentry — collects crash reports.
- Pinball Map — venue and machine lookups. We don’t send them anything about you.
Your choices
- Edit your name, handle, and IFPA number any time in My Profile.
- Delete your account in My Profile. That removes your account and the tournaments you created. Stripe keeps its own payment records as tax rules require.
- Email pintouradmin@gmail.com for a copy of your data or any other request.
Kids
PinTour isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
